Question

How is it possible I have a blog showing on my Google Reader that I am not following? It shows up on both the reader and on my site as a blog I follow but when I go my reading list and the gadget for my sidebar...it's not being followed. How can I remove it from site when I am not following it in the first place?

Conundrum!

Denise

Is it the stupid 50 cent thing? Because I have the same problem with that blog!!!

Is it someone named Clarence, and the blog title is 50 Cent? That happened to me, and when I hovered over the links, it showed me that it was the stitching blog, "To Stitch or Not to Stitch" and the URL started out 44mamaw....

I deleted the blog, and I'm hoping that will solve the problem.

Goo morning Denise! I think what you have to do is go to that blog and see if you somehow became a follower, and remove yourself as a follower. Let us know if that works! Have a lovely holiday day today.

I have one on my reader list that never shows up so I can read it . . now THAT is irritating.

Wanna know something else strange? When I bring up your blog, the written part ends up going through the left diamonds and the black border . . . and all of the info that you had on the side appears on the bottom. This happens with two other blogs and I have no idea how to fix any of them :0{

AT least, I can reply to you . . one of them won't allow me to reply ;0{{{{

I have the same problem - 50 cent and Clarence - I think perhaps Barbara's To Stitch or Not To Stitch was hacked. I'll pop over to her blog and ask her if she's noticed anything.

Yep....it's that 50Cent thing. I still get posts from Barbara, but also now from that strange guy. UGH!!!

It seems that a number of us have had the same problem. Hopefully, it will soon be taken care of.

I had the same thing with two blogs, one was from an old blog that someone else has taken over the blog address and one was hacked and then moved somehow to a slightly different address . If you go through your blog list and delete ones that haven't posted in a while ,you should get rid of it.
Let me know if you need any more help as I did manage to get rid of both on my list .X
